I was wondering why the colours were all washed out. I tried fixing it through the Switch2 system settings.
Tried to fix it through the in game menus. No luck.
I had to disable it on Switch2 systems settings on both toggles, both the overall toggle and the compatible titles toggle.
Finally the game looks good.
Game seems nice so far. It's a little surreal to play such an English game for me. Games are usually very American or Japanese, so this feels very welcoming and familiar to me.
Some shadows are awful, the hair is a bit aliased but otherwise quality is good once hdr is disabled.
I chose Ravenclaw as it sounded the most like me, had instant regret when meeting my fellow members.
One talking endlessly about her pot plants, the other about the stars. I wanted to die inside.
Hate the perilously slow enforced walking pace. The controls feel decent, plays like a 3rd person combat game at times.
I had to get through the long opening before I could enable gyro controls. The sensitivity needs tweaking, but it already shows promise.
It controls more like an over the shoulder third person shooter and you can manually just aim at your target.
The story and atmosphere feels spot on for the franchise, pretty impressed by that aspect.
The students character designs seem weirdly off. Some more photogenic, less freckled peeps would be nice. These students all look like they were raised under the staircase from birth.

So, anyone pumped for Hollow Knight Silksong? Years in the making, hype level skyrocketing and it's finally nearly here. 4th of september! Whoooo!
Anyhow, I probably won't be getting it immediately. I've got plenty of stuff to play as is, but am definitely looking forward to playing it in due time.
I think I've made my feelings on Hollow Knight fairly clear in this forum, and I am definitely looking forward to playing this. I'm a little wary of the control scheme, as I think it's going to be a little more complicated than Hollow Knight was. Not necessarily a bad thing, but given the difficulty of the original, I'm a bit worried Silksong's going to be even a harder.
I chose Hufflepuff. You know how to use the floo network, right?
Yes but I like to walk around a lot too, warping everywhere breaks the immersion and Im trying to get the layout of Hogwarts before I start quick travelling.

Had me rolling.

Maybe the Lumos spell has faded their skin.
What house did you choose?
I've been playing it more than I thought I would. I like the open concept with missions.
Don't like that you can't talk to most npcs. I thought I'd enjoy exploring Hogwarts itself.
But its very much like a large church at this point and a bit repetitive.
How many fecking sets of stairs are there in this building. We need a magical elevator.
I called my character Phineus Bottom-Fart

A little. I'm seem to be on a quest right now that I certainly don't remember when I first played this. I was in Ravenclaw.
It was such a small part of the game which probably explains why I didn't remember it.
