Rave Racer is a fun game. It feels similar to Ridge Racer, but doesnt focus as much on crazy drifting moves. Like all Ridge Racer games, I really, really, really wish I could turn off the annoying announcers, but no such option exists.
Edit: I'm quite happy that Namco is finally doing something with these games.
My main wifi network just reset itself to the factory settings for no reason at all, completely messing up my printer/scanner in the proces. The joys of home networking.
I managed to get my printer working. I managed to get my scanner working. I did not manage to change the wifi settings, as the actual settings page shows everything as it should be.
I use the GBC filter on NSO. Sadly, Nintendo only offers one pallette: pink, yellow and light blue. Still better than green or B&W.
After playing through DX/colorized versions of the first three Super Mario Land games, I really do think Nintendo should take a long hard look at remaking them. Nothing too dramatic, but something along the lines of Super Mario All-Stars, where they polish up the graphics and tweak the controls, but leave the level design alone. There are some great levels and fun to be had, particularly with WarioLand, provided they can update those controls. Game Boy controls have not aged well at all.
