I'm still working my way through Bioshock Infinite. I downloaded Palworld for a future playthrough.

This weekend I played nothing.  If I would have had any game time to spare, I would still have been playing Pikmin4.  I feel I'm close to the true ending, but there also still seems to be a lot of side-content to still complete.  I might try my hand at 100%'ing the game.  Pikmin games are so few and far between that it only feels right to do so.

[videogameschronicle.com]Blesinsky: MS Would Be "Smart" to Hire Him Work on Gears “I’m down to consult."

I can scarcely contain my amazement when I read they thanked him by ignoring him.

Pet peeve of mine: how come computers always seem to eat up 85% of your RAM just running windows, firefox and some simple office documents?  My latest Surface Pro has 16Gigs Ram, that before 8Gig and the one before 4 Gig.  Every time I assumed doubling RAM would mean software would run more smoothly, but every time I'm stuck juggling programs, trying to get everything to run smoothly.  Hrm

That's Windows. I'll tongue in check and say it's because they need that to send all your meta data to advertisers, but that doesn't take up much ram. Linux for the win! (also tongue in cheek -- While a far thinner OS, the lack of qualify software does grind on me to the point I cannot use it 100% of the time).

I get that the "new" development team probably don't want what they perceive to be a primadonna floating in and telling them how to do things. But certainly, Blesinski has a solid track record and a passion for the material (besides it would be great for a marketing gimmick to get consumers to come back to Gears). They should swallow their pride, have him consult on the story and get his hands-on impression of gameplay for a few weeks.

I set up my second current gen TV yesterday and hooked up the Switch and XB to it. The 50 incher looks smallish compared to the 75 inch but the picture quality is just as good. (I was limited to 50 inches on this one as it is in the family room and therefore out of my jurisdiction.

I adore my 55" and it's massive compared to my old 42". I sometimes think maybe I should have gone with the 65", though.

I tell you one thing though, on the LG models they make it very hard to find how to turn off the picture smoothing or whatever it is.

And, as is usual for everything their "ap store" sucks, as does the default privacy options. If you want it to function you basically have to agree that they can sell your soul.

Yeah, Lg's menu is ridiculous.

I disabled online connecting on mine. I never use smart TV features anyway. I only use game mode, which disables motion smoothing and other nonsense by default.

Yeah I gotta have the streaming services otherwise I'd have it disconnected as well. It's creepy.

Tempting price, if you don't factor in the cost of home refurbishments to actually be able to place it.  cheeky

Really love how you can manipulate the battle system in Octopath Traveler to exploit your enemies weaknesses.

Nothing better than breaking a boss repeatedly, then piling it all into one massive attack. Love how the game values your time too, most battles are swift and brutal, you can even increase the game speed in battles.

I've had a 65 inch for a couple if years. The picture quality isn't as good as the 55 inches, but I've come to appreciate it more in the past few weeks. Having a bigger canvas makes gaming more immersion. Although the processors in it are slow as shit. That's why one should always read reviews first!

If you guys are using LGs they have a true colour mode you can enable which will display Mclassic at 2k without an additional dongle. It will make your switch games look much better. As well as any other 1080p or below source.

I don't think the MClassic is needed in my case. I have no complaints at all about how my LG C2 upscales Switch games. It looks really good by itself.
