My wife restacked our bathroom reading bin with some old magazines and comics she found of mine a while back. Included are some Edge magazines from 2014, including one that does a feature profile on this weird battle royal game called Fortnite. Can't imagine anyone's going to play that.

So Quake 6 was apparently teased in the Indiana Jones Xbox trailer. If they are really doing a new Quake game, I hope it's more like the first game rather than the later ones. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the original game the most.

Quake 4 was an Xbox 360 launch game.  Quake Champions is the 5th and is tournament style like Quake 3. I never played that one.

I played a bit of Quake 4 on the 360. Not enough to really form much of an opinion on it. Would be interested in seeing what a Quake 6 might be like.

"What an incredible smell you've discovered!" It isn't Resident Evil unless you end up in the sewers at some point, I guess.  This weekend has been all about RE3 Remake. Really enjoying this so far.

First person whip weird? Did'nt one of the metroid prime has first person grapple?  It will be like that but with a whip. A whipple if you please.

Chronicles of Riddick. There's a game I haven't played in a long long time. Great game. Beat it twice on the original Xbox. It was more of a stealth game, though. First person might work for Indy too. I have to see more gameplay.

There is some lineage there as it was ex-Starbreeze guys (that made Chronicles of Riddick) who went on to form Machine Games, so we could be in for a real treat.

Still just been playing Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Finally beat Fatalis earlier during the week. Such an intense fight then the music kicks it up a notch when you got him down in health. Epic stuff. Beat him a few more times after to get enough mats for the full armour set and Fatalis great sword. Got them all fully upgraded as well and most all the jewels that I want. Thinking about maybe playing with another weapon or two but feel like I’m mostly done with the game now. The wait for Monster Hunter Wilds begins.
