I don't even really understand what week it is, lesee...

Last week I played nothing either. My Switch is at the other place, as is my PS1 Classic, so this last week was all about downloading content for the PS1 Classic. Unlike NES, Atari and SNES hack jobs, where you can fit pretty much anything (and in the case of the Atari EVERYTHING, the PS1 games sure do fill up a 64 GB flash drive pretty fast.  So going to have to think abot a powered SSD or something. I'll see how it goes when I get back to it and how the games I downloaded worked out.

I think I would have wanted to play Crysis 3 on PS3 had I not been doing all the other stuff in life.

This weekend I've been playing Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Having a lot of fun with it so far. The 4K HDR visuals are stunning and it runs smoothly on the PS5. HDR especially makes low light scenes so much easier to explore.

That's sounds cool. The wife is in awe of the new 75 inch set.

Funny story, I showed her on the internet, "This is the TV we are getting, it is a great deal". She looked at it and went, "okay".  Then when I had bought it I showed her in the store and it's the closestt thing I have seen to a complete meltdown in public. It only would have been topped if Jerry Springer turned up an dtold her I was not the real father of her child.

She said, "I thought it would be this big (putting her hands out to inidicate a 30" display)."  "On the internet it didn't look that big."  I was going to pull a "...that's what she said" joke but it was not the time or place.

I said, "Look" (which is never a great way to start a defense) "Look, we are not having this argument in an appliance store." Then I went Obi Wan, "This is the TV we are buying, This is happening".

Anyway no complaints now she can watch her murder shows in 4K. Cool I did hook up a PS4 to it, and OMG.

It's fun for about a week then I'm ready to go home.

You can make it a part of your lifestyle, like morning and afternoon exercise. It doesn't have to be 3 hours lying in the sun or anything.

I didn't play any games this weekend, but the boy beat TotK, so I can finally stop mucking about in the Gerudo desert and head towards the final showdown.

What the hell is it with women and murder shows? It seems like just about every woman I know over the age of 30 can't get enough of serial killer podcasts and other related programming. I suspect they're fantasizing about killing their partners, but that's just my theory.

Well it wouldn't be the summer in Florida without a hurricane, and it looks like we've got one. Good news is that it looks like it's shifting further Northwest from me so I don't think I'll have anything other than some wind and rain, but later might be more in its way. Anyway, wheeeee.
