Not hugely into tactics games. Only Advance Wars and Fire Emblem I liked. I've given up on Fire Emblem. I miss the 2D art style.

I wouldn't say it was a great game, but definitely enjoyable in the moment to moment action.

I think Ubisoft might be making that same mistake they did with Red Steel 2. Mario + Rabbids was an okay game (still need to finish it one of these days), but it's sold well because it launched really really early on the system. Amongst a mature library, it might not be as popular.

That said, Red steel 2 is actually quite good, but I think most people had all they wanted after the original.

Started The Raven Remastered last night, only played 30 mins but it's awesome already. I grew up in the 80s watching stuff like the A Team and Knight Rider but we also watched shows/movies like Quirot or Agatha Christie shows. This is a 3D adventure game based in the 60s. You play as this overweight Swiss constable and you're trying to catch a master thief. The atmosphere is excellent, especially the music. It feels very unique and evocative. Really glad I got this game.

I think they screwed up the formula. If they had just made a game similar to the first only with better controls it would have done well. They released it too late, they Cell-shaded it. Changed its location to a western (a very small niche) . They reinvented what didn't need to be reinvented. I like the second game but I'd take a port of the 1st game with better controls. Who doesn't like cheesy Asian gangsters and a modern setting?

I bought the Ninja Gaiden Master Collection for the PS4.  I kinda wanted it for the Switch for on the go gaming but I knew I would be fighting for time to play the switch with my kids...Minecraft freaks.

RS2 was very good, much better than the first. I think M+R will do just fine as it has the Mario name attached to it and shares a similar family friendliness. I'll wait for this one to hit 15euro before getting it though...

I got it in the sale at around £9 so you will probably have it around 10 USD in the sale. It's rarely discounted so chuck it on your wishlist and check back each week. It's a proper full game, got great reviews too and I can see why. You can feel the game was made with a lot of love, the voice acting is perfect, the animations subtle and just great. I love waddling around the train as an overweight middle aged Swiss constable ☺️ There are good video reviews on YouTube but the eshop trailer shows some of the review quotes. It's a good one.

Playing Queens Quest Sacred Truce, its like a 2D Elder Scrolls. Feels a bit like unravelling those Dark guild missions. Quite surprised, enjoying it. There a couple of momentary times when the hint system doesn't work on point, like all other Artifex Mundi games do. Same as the previous Queens Quest, but this is far better than QQ3.
