An endless mistake....much like watching the new Mortal Kombat.

Holy shit what a pile of shit that was. Why is it so hard to do something like the 95 movie, why?!

Almost done with RE7 playing in VR, incredible that you can be inside this game with early VR tech, it's stunning. RE7 is easily the scariest game in the series. The extra modes are also great, lots of fun activities.

RE8 castle demo was great, better than the last one. The castle seems like it will be a new classic RE location. The combat shines more cause you can mess with the merchant and pick or upgrade weapons. Almost there, so close to RE8!

it started off so good too. It's like they had this plan to do this really epic kung fu movie, but decided they didn't need to hire a writer or anyone who knew how to act.

Almost done with the Inner World, a graphic adventure. It's such a shame this has no touchscreen support or a better interface. It's actually a good game, but after 8-10 hrs of scrolling through hotpots with shoulder buttons, it's a constant annoyance. On the good side the story has come together, some of the puzzles (all inventory based) are some of the best I've seen in the genre. The game gets a shot in the arm once a new character becomes more prominent. The art and world are very interesting. If you have an iphone/pad or Android phone I'd say get it when on sale. For £1 you will get a full featured graphic adventure game that with give you hours of entertainment. It's not one of my favourites but it is a good game

The mclassic dongle seems to be the real deal. It up scales any hdmi console, including older consoles with hdmi adapters into much higher resolutions. Mileage may vary but I read the top 5 reviews via the search engine and they were all saying it works. It's 100 dollars, might get it for Wii, but it will work on anything, hear it does your old dvds justice too. Very simple plug and play device. From what I hear if you have a TV capable of 1440p or monitor that is better for Switch xb1 and ps4 via the device. I may get one. I bought a scaler years ago, it was decent but not good enough. BTW there are pictures on the articles.

Heads up, there's an adventure game that got good reviews. It's called Irony Curtain, it's a comedy point and click game set in Mother Russia. It's on sale at £1.79 right now. Also State of Mind this future set Blade Runner like 3d adventure game that got decent reviews is only £3.79, both on the switch shop.

The digital foundry review was the first one I read. Other reviews are better. I've been reading the amazon comments and there are some quirks. For instance it will only do 4k on video and only at the right framerate. SD games will only upscale to 720p. It can upscale ps3/switch/xb1 etc to 1440p but most tvs don't support that resolution. Most reviews say its better for older consoles but also gets good results on switch for lower resolution games. I'll probably try it at some point but I kinda feel like I'll buy it and then they'll release a proper 4k version. Oh also you need 4k or 2k capable hdmi cables (Switch hdmi cable is not)

Finished The First Tree (PC) and A Short Walk (PC).

Can't wait to talk about them on the next show.

Been playing Yakuza: Like a Dragon (PS4), Moving Out (PC).

Also, inspired by my reading, I played NBA Jam for Genesis, SNES and NBA Jam Tournament Edition for Genesis.

doesn't look too bad. Mclassic looks better to me. I watched 5 video reviews and dozens of comparison videos. They have a YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/c/MarseilleInc
it actually works. Now I can watch my dvds on a 4ktv without it looking like shit. And GC/wii, dream cast can look good again.

So does anyone here have any experience playing the Sinking City? It's that Lovecraftian game by the guys who make the Sherlock Holmes games. It got pretty average reviews for most places it seems, in these days it probably seems best known for the battle between the developers and the publishers regarding money and who owns the game.

I noticed this morning the entire game with all the DLC is available for $16. Thinking about pulling the trigger, but just needed to know if anyone suggests staying the hell away from it or not.

I’ve heard and seen a little bit on it. It seems like a pretty jank game but something you can kind of laugh at while you play. That’s probably not at all very helpful info for you though but that’s all I got on it. There’s probably some YouTube reviews and stuff that you might want to look at.

Digging the Monster Hunter Rise 2.0 update that came out today. Lots of additions in there. Got Bazelgeuse, Kushala Daora, Teostra, and Chameleos making there appearance now. Never fought Chameleos before but I found it a pretty cool monster to fight. Got some of the Apex monsters being able to be tackled in regular quests now outside of them only being able to be fought in the Rampage quests. All the armour is now available as layered armour. Of course there’s some new weapons and armours from the new creatures. The new quests can be pretty challenging. Seen a number of people carting while playing a few. Seems like a pretty decent update overall. Need to really dig into some more.

I'm kind of looking forward to it. I love the original and I'm sure I'll enjoy this. However when I was playing Pokemon Sword I kind of came to the realization that I don't know anything about Pokemon anymore, and there are generations of games that have come and gone with Pokemon that I've never seen. So I know it won't have quite the same impact as the original did since everything's going to be unfamiliar to me.
