Bulletstorm complete edition or whatever its called is £6.24 on the eshop. Too cheap not to buy? Also FF Zodiac age is 50% off.

I really enjoyed it on the 360. Got the Xbox One version again for like $5 or cheaper. Definitely worth it.

I did not win the XBX contest at Taco Bell today. That is all.

But you survived Taco Bell, that is the main thing.

So I started Galaxy and it looks gorgeous.  It looks like it was released today instead of in 2007.  The game is the very definition of fun to me.

The Bowser fights are just a joy, maybe my favorite battle with Bowser. I love how he runs when he’s on fire and tries to turn around to get the hell away from Mario.

I've been playing Nier Automata for the past few days it is great so far.

I only played the demo back in 2017 for it. It was fun but it seemed complicated, back then.

I bought it in the PS4 "Big In Japan" sale for $20.

SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:

  • SMB Mix-Up! (1AB2-0000-0047-5A7D)
  • Storm the Castle (77BD-0000-00E0-A9C0)

the difference between Sunshine and Galaxy visuals is huge. And the game is just so damn awesome.

WTF, Nintendo? I had to go into the Switch system settings and remap the button layout for Sunshine (no option in-game) because it is so different from the Gamecube version.

Gamecube

  • A = Jump
  • B = Dive
  • Y = Locked over-the-shoulder camera view (makes boss battles mush easier spraying FLUDD)
  • X = Switch FLUDD's modes

Switch

  • A = Jump
  • B = Jump
  • Y = Dive
  • X = Switch FLUDD's modes
  • Right Stick Button = Locked over-the-shoulder camera view.

Gamecube version = inverted Y-axis default (my preferred);

Switch =  non-inverted Y-axis. No option to change it. Hrm

I just downloaded this today through gamepass. I won't start it for a while still, but I'm looking forward to playing it.

A lot of people are talking about this.  Some said it's strange that Nintendo doesn't allow inverted because they grew up using inverted controls BECAUSE of the Mario games.

I really need to get back to this game. Was enjoying it but got sidetracked.

I started up Romancing SaGa 3 again. When I played it over the winter I wasn't playing it correctly, even though I knew better. It starts out like every other JRPG, so it is so damn easy to fall into old habits. Finally I'm playing it like a Saga game and it takes longer to start up, but once you get past the 3rd hour it gets pretty damn good.

So this weekend has been Mario weekend.  I finished Super Mario Sunshine and moved on to Super Mario Galaxy.  I may attempt to 100% these games later.  What about you guys?

This weekend it was mostly Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Also made a return to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne to get ready for the October update. Tried some Radiant Silvergun and Resident Evil Code Veronica X.

Animal crossing and Trine 2. After Trine 1, 3 and 4, going back to 2 feels like a kick in the nuts. There's no obvious solution to some puzzles and you often have to make some half baked physics based apparatus to get through by the skin of your teeth. I'm on the final boss.

Sling Pod Galaxy is one of the most difficult but fun levels in SMG.  That's how you make a game challenging without being frustrating.
