Yeah I heard that as well. Will be interesting to see how well it sells, will probably all be collectors buying it. Never played the game myself though so have no idea what it’s like.

I read something about it when this was first announced, and they're only making a couple thousand copies. Something like 4,000 I think? So with that small of a run, I'm pretty sure it'll sell out.

That said, I kind of wonder if a collector's market could be sustained on the Wii. Over the past couple years the system's reputation has really improved. A lot of that is rose colored glasses and nostalgia speaking, but I Do think you could release runs of around 10,000 and pretty consistently sell software on it if you so desired.

Ah, ok. Yeah those will be gone pretty quick. Yeah I think a collector’s market could probably do pretty well on the Wii. There’s no doubt a lot of the systems out there.

This weekend I started The Last of Us and played a ton of Uncharted multiplayer.

This weekend it was Animal Crossing: New Horizons and a return to Dragon Quest XI: S Definitive Edition for me.

I ran into the dreaded no-movement glitch in Beat Cop, but managed to survive the day and complete most of the tasks, anyway. I hope it doesn't happen again. I also made it to the last part of Metro Exodus, competed the first world in Project Warlock and celebrated the return of Formula 1 by driving like a retard as Vettel in F1 2019; highly unrealistic, as I'm leading the championship!

I spent some time with Kingdom Hearts 3, but not that much. I just entered Pirates of the Caribbean world, and that stupid dog fight pretty much killed any of the fun I was having with the game.

This is apparantly a real thing:

Lego NES set coming from Nintendo and Lego

Note the attention to detail in the very short controller cord.

This was posted a couple days and I forgot to mention it, but Sega has announced a new mini console - The Astro City Mini. It's a style of arcade cabinet that was super popular in Japan I guess. The game list is small but pretty impressive. The way the article reads, more games will be announced for it.

– Alien Syndrome
– Alien Storm
– Golden Axe
– Golden Axe: Revenge of Death Adder
– Columns II
– Dark Edge
– Tant R
– Virtua Fighter
– Fantasy Zone
– Altered Beast

This is the first time Revenge of Death Adder has had any kind of port from the original arcade release. I'm not overly impressed with the design of it, is I don't see it being very playable however it plugs into a TV through an HDMI cable so it can still be played comfortably.

Really hoping for an American release, but if The game list is updated with a few more solid releases, I may just break down an import this.  Shinobi, Virtua Fighter 2, and Congo bongo would all be nice additions. actually, Congo bongo really wouldn't be a good addition, but I really just like to say it.... Congo Bongo.

On a different note, apparently Ubisoft had their not E3 showing yesterday. did anyone see anything of interest on it? Did anyone watch it? Did anyone know it actually happened?

Who? What? Where? When? How? Why? Nyaa

I didn’t watch it but I checked out the stuff on Watch Dogs Legion, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, and FarCry 6. WD looks pretty interesting in how you can be anyone and they have their unique attributes which may be more beneficial to particular missions and want not. Valhalla looked pretty good. I haven’t played any of the AC games since Black Flag so I am interested in hoping back into it and this looks like it might be a good one to do so with. Watched the cinematic trailer for FarCry 6 and I’m definitely looking forward to that game thanks to Giancarlo Esposito being in it. Also checked out a trailer for their battle royal game, Hyper Space I think it’s called, it did nothing for me though.

I spent quite a bit of time playing Virtua Racing HD on Switch over the weekend.

So I may be bumping up my plans for a new console soon. Vacation plans got canceled, so a chunk of money just fell back into my wallet and I'll be damned if I don't use this for something fun and irresponsible.

So at this point I'm debating between the Switch, PSVR, a gaming PC, or hookers and blow.

I say get a Switch + hookers and blow. Sure the hookers and blow may have to be bumped down a notch in quality adding the Switch in there but it’s worth it, maybe.

Now I'm curious.  Where were you going for vacation?

Well maybe calling it a vacation is generous. There's a horror convention we go to that had been pushed back to August from May (and now cancelled all together). It's in town, but we get a hotel room for a couple nights where it's hosted. Throw in the cost of tickets, meals, autographs, etc. and it ends up being the price if a vacation.

But if you were asking that in the vein of the old joke, "where do people in Florida go for vacation?" I'll give you the location of my last couple vacations.

San Antonio, Key West, Caribbean cruise, and one of the nicer resorts at Universal Studios.

You could get a Switch and take a vacation on an island with talking wildlife, Robio.  Might even be a tanuki there that could hook you up with some hookers and blow that will ring your bells nicely. Nyaa

While normally I would advise you to go with the hookers and the blow, at your age I don't think you should risk catching coronavirus!

Hello from the Covid capital of the world!

The Ubi direct was whatever. Just the same games we always know about from them. I am sold on Wach Dogs as I love the series. AC has some good ideas but I still have a bunch of them to play so I am in no rush. And FC6 I assume is exactly like 3-5. How terrible is this canceled E3, this slow crap news roll out is horrible.

I played and beat Yooka Laylee, it's a decent attempt at Banjo but not that good. I started Halo 5 as I never played it and I figured I should play  the game so when the trailer for infinite hits I know what's going on. But holy crap wtf happened to the gunplay, it's bad. Bungie took all the talent. Have a few days to beat it as I'm getting Ghosts and paper Mario on Friday.
