I finished Lego Speed Champions. Sort of. No way I'm gonna be doing all the brick challenges to finish building the house, but I did all the races and speed zones etc., so that should count.

Spent my weekend with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Stardew Valley. That was pleasant. I also went to Home Depot and Lowe's to pick up a few items I needed for projects around the home. And apparently I was not the only one with that idea. Both home improvement stores were literally at capacity, at least as far as the quarantine goes, and they had lines out the door as they made customers wait until others left before coming in. Apparently the concept of social distancing is wearing thin amongst people looking to purchase paint and gardening supplies.

Grocery store pick up has been a blessing.  I don't believe I've been inside a store since March.

Okay, so I finished The Outer Worlds a while ago. There's really no chance I'll return to it. Usually, I stroll into GameStop, trade it in for credit and pick up something else.  I'm not about to go in there now so...anybody interested in playing The Outer Worlds for PS4? The first one to claim is the one to get it.  You can pm your info and  I'll mail it once my envelopes and stamps arrive.  I'll try to disenfect it as much as I can while shipping it.

I ended up only playing Animal Crossing and Sea of Thieves.

Home improvement and gardening centers just got the green light to open up. It's a strange decission to say the least. I think they'd rather have people heading to such stores and being able to do chores around the house than people getting fed up with not being able to do anything and just going out and ignoring the lockdown altogether. I'm sure as hell not going near any such store.

I know I should be interested in it, but even with Majora's Mask I just cannot hang with games with looping mechanics. Same reason I don;t play rogue likes.

This weekend I've been reclaiming Montana from religious militants in Far Cry 5.  I've also played the stalk market in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.  What about you, villagers?

Up until this point, I thought you were describing a real life event...

I heard a few weeks ago hardware stores have been doing great with people doing DIY projects and buying major appliances during the apocalypse.

I think you're confusing the Outer Worlds with the Outer Wilds.  The Outer Worlds is the Fallout a like one.

So I haven't been keeping updated with the news. Apparently Nintendo stock is at a year high. Animal Crossing related, its outsold MK8 deluxe in Japan already. Switch is in short supply worldwide too.

NPD came out and Nintendo is destroying everything. Over 1 million switches sold, the most ever for any console in March. Animal crossing is the third best opening in Nintendo history only behind smash games. That's around 3 million sold NOT counting digital, in the US alone. AC will be the best selling game this year beating any CoD lifetime, we are talking 20 million + here. AC is now as big as Mario, smash and kart.

just ridiculous numbers.

oh and square released that 3.5 million copies of FF7 has been sold worldwide in three days, most of it digital. Remember it's a PS4 exclusive so that beats Spider-Man to make it the fastest selling Sony exclusive EVER.

The virus is not stopping gaming.

Yeah I saw the trailer for it early. It looks awesome. You now have a World creator so you can make a mini map and put up to 8 different worlds in it with a bunch of levels connected. Basically you create an entire Mario game. Will definitely be firing this game back up and checking out all the cool new stuff.
