I've been playing MHW: Iceborne.  It was an unfulfilling session, as to progress I needed a material that could only be obtained by another weapon than the one I was using, and my coop wingman couldn't make it, thus halting any and all progression.

Also played some Hob.  I remember Vader loving this, and I can see why, but I'm not really feeling it.  It's a top down puzzle adventurer, but I'm not getting a lot of satisfaction from playing it.  There's too much guidance.  It's all fairly simple stuff strung together in a way that makes it feel as if you're just along for the ride.  Instead of making the player feel clever, it's as if the developer just wants to show off how clever they were in making the game.

i have no idea what is on Switch. Deponia is good, but the classic-style of the puzzles may be off-putting. Definitely more complicated than that Broken Sword.

The deponia games are on Switch and often heavily discounted.  I've been tempted by the myself, but always remember that I don't really like those kinds of games before actually buying them.

Still playing Immortals which is much better than I thought it would be. Also I got steel into Zelda games which in turn got me to replay some games so I did ALBW. Also tried more random VR games, finally found a great one called Vertigo.

Still want to get Immortals: Fenix Rising one day. Looks very good from all that I’ve seen of it.

there's a demo out. Nearing the end of Broken Sword 5. Some of the puzzles near the end are too intensive. Especially the decryption one. Dual sticks weren't made for this. Also, I have no music reading ability so that tin can puzzle was a pain in the ass. Probably the worst thing about some areas is that you check an item, a rock for instance and its useless and George doesn't need it. Then later in the same scene the one thing you absolutely need is the rock you already checked and dismissed as useless.

Oh yeah I know there’s a demo for it but I’ve already seen enough to know I’d like to buy the game. A demo isn’t going to do anything more for me to be honest.

New Move controllers are pretty huge.  But hey, inside out tracking is a big improvement (love it with Quest2) and they'll feature similar haptics and triggers to what we've got on the PS5 controller.

Massive improvement. Finally PSVR gets a real VR controller.

Can anyone get Broken Sword 2 working on Android? Some users say the update killed it.

I gave it a look, but the only thing that came to mind was a good shag.

Not sure if that helps.

After completing Broken Sword 5 and both Telltale Batman games on Switch I'm all in on graphic adventures. I started Grim Fandango which I initially hated and gave up on 7 mins in last year. I'm a 2D fan and it's ugliness, disorientated camera angles and bizaare setting put me off. However it's growing on me Grinning
