You're already 62. He just had to keep contributing didn't you?

I think we can safely assume it's Aspro. Anyone with a smidgeon of self-respect would have immediately stopped posting at that point.

The Fake Aspro added me as a friend. If he asks me to buy handbags, I'm out.

Listened to most of the GUPodcast today. So Aspro upgraded his pc for VR, but still hasn't bought the actual Quest2?  LOL

He also still seems to believe you need a VR capable PC for the Quest2. Aspro, it functions pretty well as a standalone headset as well.

Aspro, when you do get a quest2, add me on Facebook and we can get €30 in store credit each. Don't add Foolz. With his rig it's clear he's positively swimming in cash.
Don't forget your poor pal SupremeAC. And my kids, don't forget them either. With the store credit added to my account I won't need to dig into our food funds for my VR fix and I might even be able to just afford some apples to feed my family for a week or so.

I believe this is known in psychological circles as "rationalisation".

So his excuse (rationalisation, whatever) for upgrading his rig was to be able to play VR, but now he can't find an excuse to get an actual quest2? Nyaa

By this logic he could justify the purchase to his family by saying he'd buy it to watch porn, thus putting their mind at ease that he WON'T use it to watch porn as per his reasoning as to why he needed to upgrade his rig.

Of course, then actually buying the Quest2 would have said logic implode on itself exposing, for once and for all, how poor this current exercise in 'rationalisation' really is.

Well he doesn't need to find an excuse to get a quest 2, because the concept of getting a quest 2 was actually just an excuse to upgrade his PC rather than a real goal in and of itself. Nyaa

ahem... I'M IN THE ROOM guys  sheesh.

I'm waiting for a Quest 3 to come out so I can either benefit from the new features or better headstrap or benefit from getting a cheaper Quest 2 on the used market (after buying a new face shield for it).

The main reason I am not doing it this second is because I am enjoying the upgraded PC for now the novelty has not worn off.  If I could just walk into a store and get one I'd have impulse bought it by now, but with online purchases I am a lot more deliberate in my actions for some dumb reason.

I have a million excuses.

Just listened to the most recent GameUnder podcast. There is a new Magic the Gathering video game. It's called HEARTHSTONE!!!!!  Oh and a new season is about to start, with three older decks rotating out, making the game more approachable for new players.

Also, how has Phil not played Symphony of the Night?? The definitive Top 100 games of all time list ranked it in the top 10!

Some of the games I listed in the show I have played to completion before. But SotN is not one of them.  I glanced by my PS1 collection last night, and holy shit there are some bangers in there I have to get to. Bring on retirement!

It's a little awkward to get both our heads into the headset at once, but we just about manage to use one lens each at the same time, and describe what we see to to the other to make up the three dimensional image.

This is a reasonable way to look at it. Quest 2 is the PS pro of the gen, a stop gap before the true next gen of VR. When that will be is undetermined but it's coming. I am still content with my rift from many years ago, still going strong, I have no desire for an upgrade before the true next wave of VR begins.

So I've been playing lots of Immortals! At first I was like this is going to get kind of old fast cause it's a ton of block puzzles and small upgrades all over the place, icons everywhere ubi style. But some of these vaults, which are like the Zelda shrines have some really good puzzles and variety to them. Hell most are more elaborate than many shrines in BOTW. The issue is it's all variations on switch or block puzzles. BOTW let's you manipulate so many more elements, time, water, metal, here you can just move rocks around. But I like the effort put into the design of the puzzles more in some cases with immortals.

The combat is in a weird state where it's serviceable, kind of basic hack and slashy but in big battles have flashes of a combat system that could be deep. In the end it feels very old school PS2 button mashing combat. The game is close to greatness but doesn't cross over.

I finished my second 'evil' Catherine playthrough.  Yeah....  That' was not worth it.  The changes to the storyline are very minimal, just some different soundbites that play when Vincent is pondering over stuff in his head.  Nothing else changes.  I got the 'True Catherine' ending  Felt pretty good about ending up with a harem of hot sex slaves though.

Vader's the only one here I believe. I'll likely buy a PS5 once Gran Turismo 7 comes out next year.

Oh yeah, I forgot Vader got the PS5. Anyway I was kind of poking fun at his “Anyone else” part of the comment. Not only have you ruined my joke but you’ve also ruined my day. Thanks a lot! Nyaa
