Epiiiiic. 
I really like this game now, very good way of making a modern yet retro metroid. And Team Ninja have at times given it that Ninja Gaiden feel. I appreciate the harder parts and frantic feel as well as the finishing movies. The story and cutscenes remind me of cheesy Resident Evil, especially chasing that woman and the forklift fight. Love that

It's just wii graphics minus the jaggies, there are no new shaders or applied high res textures or new lighting. If HDTVs weren't so bad at scaling there wouldn't be so many jaggies. Most of the sharp pixels are the scaling of your tv. I wish I still had my SD set. It would obviously be softer and have a few jaggies but nothing compared to what a 50 inch HDTV does to the visuals.
P.S Why did no one call out the Xbox 1 screens they pulled off the buffer jagg free last gen?

Same reason they don't complain when it's done for PS360 considering pretty much all games' "screens" have tons of AA/AF that the actual games don't, or even often are taken from the PC version of games that have other better elements on top of those enhancements. People are blind

I started hard mode and started a new playthrough of Super Metroid. I am playing a lot more Super Metroid than Other M right now.
I've had Fusion in my DS for a while now. I need to get back to that.
Less than a week after release, game's done. 69% Item Collection.
Time to 100% it and start counting down the maaany days until the next one's release!
