No. And no, but I do have some experience with Gimp.

What sort of stuff do you need done?

I do use some photoshop from time to time, although I rely more on a vector based program these days.  But to say I'm proficient at it would be a stretch.  Like Foolz asked, what level of stuff would you need?

Simple logo work, like banners. Something to bring spark to things like Top 10 Games of 2010 article.

The more I think of it though I should not "contract" friends for creative work as it can often result in hurt feelings etc..

I think our site logo and artwork may benefit from a refresh (gameunder.net) -- stuff we use for our podcast art, things like that.

Good thing you asked us here then.  Nyaa

Anyhow, creating spiffy looking things is probably above my skill level.  I've ever only created stuff to advertise my own professional services, and while I'm proud of the result and feel it looks sufficiently professional, 'spark' is just not my thing I'm afraid.

My sister in law does that for a living, but she's a twat. Sorry.

Just get a good image, slap some fancy text on it. Job done.
