I just finished Split Fiction and yeah, what an amazing game this is. It has left me in awe as we moved from one crazy gameplay scenario to another. My son and I were constantly commenting on how amazing each new area was. If you think you've been gaming for thirty plus years and there is nothing new under the sun, this game will prove you wrong. The final boss/area threw stuff at us that I've never experienced before in a videogame. This is easily my goty so far.
Play this game. Find a buddy and play.

Plan to later this year, but I have to play it takes two first.
I just finished the main story of Donkey Kong Bananza. What a fun platformer with some cool later game surprises. I couldn't have been happier with how this turned out. Part Banjo, part DK64, part Mario Odyssey. Great fun.

My son wants to play this with me as well, but I'm waiting for a sale to pick it up on Switch2.
Advance Wars Reboot /Second game- 30/07 - Switch - 8.9/10
I beat the second game yesterday. It's as much fun as the original. It only adds one new unit, but lets you play as all the factions from the first game, which is neat. Downside is that you're battling the Black Hole army in all missions, whose designs aren't all that great. A new tear of commander super powers is added, which makes some commanders actually less usefull, while others become truely overpowered. I was going to score it less that the original as what it adds kind of muddles the clean vision of the original, as is often the case with sequels, but what the heck, it's just too darn much fun to score it an 8, so I'll give it an 8.9.
Updated with two games. I finished Cult months ago, but haven't been near enough a PC to update this thread. XenoBlade Chronicles 3... is probably the reason I haven't been near a PC in months or much of anything else for that matter. I started the game in May, finished it in August. Nearly 200 hours worth of gameplay, and every minute was worth it! Such a memorable cast, and every one of the characters has multiple moments to shine. If this game doesn't move you emotionally, you are dead inside. I can't say enough about it! If you want something to sink your teeth into for a while, this is it! I will play the Future Redeemed DLC too, I just needed a break to do other and play other things!

I logged in all these months later to say those are hot garbage too.
Yeah the final boss fight in Tears of the Kingdom was pretty awesome.
