Trailer For 'Outcast'

The trailer has been released for 'Outcast', an upcoming American-Chinese period swordplay epic directed by Nicholas Powell. The film follows the adventures of a war-weary Crusader and a legendary Crusader-turned-bandit as they attempt to stop an assassination attempt on the heir to the Imperial throne.

Looks awful, though.

Also not sure I want stormtroopers anyway. Everything so far about this says pandering fan service, and nothing says good. Except for the X-Wing in that charity ad. That looked great.

Yeah, it just doesn't work without exaggerating the jowls and the grill-like perforation. The trouble is that no one is going to be willing to do that anymore, because it doesn't fit in with modern sensibilities: but then neither does anything else about it, so you need to come up with a new helmet if you want it to look contemporary. Bobba Fett's helmet is something you can mess around with; the stormtrooper helmet isn't.

According to our sources, Disney has plans to release the orginal cut of the Star Wars trilogy on Blu-ray. Our sources indicate that the project has been underway for quite some time, but it's been challenging because of some damage to the orginal negatives they are utilizing. The goal is to release A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi in their complete, unaltered, orginal form without the redone special edition SFX
