Finding the power ups was one of my favorite parts. There were some cool spider ball moments.
When you're not being sheparded about in a linear fashion, going back and navigating and searching and finding, it does become that maze like experience you have to figure out. Ice belt is far more complex when you go back to find everything.
Also finally managed to calibrated HDR properly on the tv. And woooooow wtf, Prime 4 looks virtually like a different game and so cinematic its almost like an instant graphical remake.
So it's not switch 2s fault for bad HDR, its the display youre using and how its configured.
I did the most simple thing of using game mode and setting HDR to basic.
If you don't do this the next setting work work properly:
Then I configured switch 2 twin suns brightness as instructed. Then turned the brightness to 4 clicks from far left on the Mario wonder screen.
Then I turned HDR back to advanced. Looks incredible.
I'm glad you got your HDR config figured out.
I played MK World with HDR off once and it looked last gen. when I re-enabled it, the game looked so much better.
