That reminds me. I probably should sell my Wii U. I don't play it and I have most of those games on Switch now.

But will it become a an expensive collectors item a decade from now? An Atari Jaguar costs $400+ now and it was largely considered a POS. I'd like a similar Wii U payday.

The Wii U is going to be a hard one to predict. In 20 years it well may be worth something since total sales were only 15 million, give or take? It's not showing any signs of being a collector's item right now though, since about 80% of the library is also on the Switch now. And even that may go up. Kirby's Rainbow Curse is getting ported, and that was one of the games I thought that would be locked on the Wii U forever.

Nintendo thanks you for your tip. Nyaa

I wonder how many others have done the same thing; how much free money Nintendo has kept. Millions probably.

I know I had around a dollar left on the Wii store back in the day. So Nintendo has gotten free money from me a couple times now.

Same here. Had a little left on my Wii and Wii U accounts but it wasn’t enough for me to purchase anything that I wanted. Still hanging on to my Wii and Wii U. Still got a few games that I keep telling myself that I’ll get around to playing but probably never will. LOL

Looked at my collection last night. I bet if I completely stopped buying games today, it would take me 10+ years finish my backlog. Sad

I’m glad I’m not the only one. Will be adding another one to the pile when I buy Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door for the Switch in the next 9 days. LOL

I realised some time ago I would not even be able to get through even my Dreamcast and PS1 backlog if I retired immediately.

I'd sell all of my Wii and Wii U consoles and games today if it was easy enough to do.

+1

I hold on to nothing anymore. No more hoarding just for the off chance that I may play a game again five years from now.

GGs vehicle got hit by a guy in a black helmet, wasn't me lol. I hope everything gets resolved well GG.

Anyone get Animal Well? It's the indie darling of the month and it's really good if you love something like Fez, lots of platforming puzzles, Metroid style exploration and so many secrets that are several layers deep. I have been wowed at how many uses the items you get have, it's Zelda TOTK like in that I am like "wait I could do that?!". Brilliant game so far.

I am finally starting up Dragons Dogma 2, let's see how this goes.
