I beat the main story on both Cyberpunk and Phantom Liberty.

Great stuff, PLiberty campaign might be better than the main game. I thought I was done but then remembered there are multiple endings.

I went back to before the final phase and tried the other option and the game is incredibly content generous, Im now on a very long all new ending path and I have 3 more endings I can go for after that.

And 2 of the endings require you to be a different gender so you can romance certain individuals. Great game, I'll always remember this as my prime switch 2 launch experience.

On Forza 8, the Steering assist setting is set to "normal" by default. When I set it to "simulation" this morning, the game said it wasn't recommended for gamepad players, only for steering wheel. BS, I say! Steering is a bit more twitchy at first, but it's also a lot more responsive too. Took me a half dozen laps around Maple valley long course to adjust to it, but it feels much better. 👍

Just started playing the game today myself.

Love to hear your impressions.

One tip I'll give you, get the legs cyberware that allows you to double jump. It's essential and you can buy it from a doc easily.

Finished the Aldercado ending. It's not just a different ending, its a different whole last segment to the game from the Haneko ending I did.

I have 3 more endings to do as well as one more different Phantom Liberty outcome.

Whoa, Switch 2 joycon warning.

My right stick became very hard to press in one direction. I thought it was f-ed up like a switch 1 joystick. I recalibrate, had the same problem, an unnatural resistance to pressing the stick in one direction.

Upon further inspection I saw a difference between how the underside of the sticks looked when pressing the stick in different directions.

Under the stick there is a rubber covering inside of the coloured rings. It had bunched up on one side.

And me trying to press it hard to one side probably was risking it tearing or cracking.

The fix was incredibly simple, used a skewer to poke it back out to its normal shape. So if your sticks feel stiff, look underneath while pressing it in different directions.

Been playing more Hogwarts Legacy.

DLSS is really excellent, literally virtually no signs of visible upscaling. Crisp and clean and stable.

From this game and Cyberpunk compared to demos of other games not using DLSS there's a vast difference in the quality of graphics shown.

I think Japanese devs in particular as they don't release on PC as much they don't have DLSS factored into their development pipeline.

I'd love to see DLSS patched into games that don't use it.

Once I turned off HDR, Hogwarts looks really nice now, although the super aggressive depth of field during some conversations is too much. Might turn it off in the options.

I also broke out the Switch 1 joycons to charge and holding them again, holy crap they feel small now.

Might actually be more comfortable for my small hands.

I didn't get a whole lot of gaming in the past week. My company's industry just had its biggest conference of the year, which happens to be local. So since last weekend, I've pretty much been either packing and setting up conference displays and material, attending the actual show, or loading it all back up and taking it back to the office. And after all that mess, I just spent my time recovering. The good news is I'm taking 3 days off this week, so I'll be able to properly veg out now.

That said, I did squeeze in a little bit of Visions of Mana yesterday and today. Not the most complex game in the world, but still fun.

Started playing Cyberpunk 2077 and Hollow Knight this weekend. Very early in both games but both seem really cool.

Wish you could start as a first year in Hogwarts Legacy and get older each year.

Be fun being a kid and having hijinks, messing around with squeaky voices.

I hear Hollow Knight has over 60 hrs of content so I've avoided playing it for ages.

Now the Switch 2 problem is that I now have no dpad.

Yeah, the original Switch seems positively dinky now. Makes me appreciate it even more actually.

You'll play hundreds of hours of snowrunner, but 60 hours of Hollow Knight scares you? LOL

I miss the chunky bulk of the OG Gameboy.

Damn. Was thinking that I might finish it before Silksong came out.
