I'm tempted to get one, but I don't know if I'll ever need it. I download all my Switch 1 games, and I still have over 100GB internal storage available. I don't plan to buy many third part games, just vintage games and collections.
Kind of tempted to get one myself as well. I mostly use my Switch 2 for Nintendo games which I get on physical format but this might be handy for dlc in the future and what not. Also storage devices like these and SSDs are most likely going to go up in prices due to the current AI rush. Might be nice to get just in case.

It’s kind of funny. I notice that there’s a few games here that sell for $93.99 for the digital version on the Xbox and PlayStation storefronts while the physical version is priced at $89.99.

Dips to 25fps occasionally but mostly 30fps and looks good. There's a patch coming 15th December.
Switch 2 Red Dead Redemption port is out, its a free update. 60fps, up to 4k resolution according to switch up but I assume 1440p or something.
Has the best implementation of mouse aiming and really well implemented HD rumble 2.
RDR is $50 which is a bit high for me.
Turok: Origins is expected to be released in 2026
01.12.25 - Saber Interactive seems to want to launch the third-person shooter Turok: Origins (PS5, Xbox Series, PC) in 2026: A sound designer at Saber Interactive working on Turok Origins has listed the game as "planned for 2026" on LinkedIn. That's what mp1st.com discovered. Officially, the game does not yet have a release date.
Turok: Origins returns with an action-packed adventure, combining intense combat with strategic upgrades. Players take on the role of the legendary Turok warriors who face off against fearsome dinosaurs and an alien threat bent on wiping out human life in the galaxy. Using a combination of powerful weapons, melee techniques, and special abilities, players must ensure their survival in various environments such as swamps, caves, and lofty heights.
The mission takes you through breathtaking and deadly worlds in the Lost Lands, including ancient temples, dense jungles, and desolate canyons. A central element is the use of the DNA of fallen enemies and the environment, which improves your own equipment in real time. CD Projekt Red confirms six-year release schedule for new Witcher trilogy
30.11.25 - CD Projekt Red confirms the schedule for the next three parts of the Witcher series in an earnings announcement at the end of November 2025. This is reported by Gamerant.
CD Projekt Red plans to release the announced trilogy within six years. This specification dates back to October 2022, when the studio stated that a new role-playing game series was to be created that would focus on an older Ciri.
The first part (The Witcher 4) has the working title Project Polaris and, like the other games, is based on Unreal Engine 5. According to the announcement, The Witcher 4 has been in the main production phase since November 2024, which is why a possible market launch towards the end of 2027 is considered realistic.
Michal Nowakowski emphasized that all three games will each receive about three years of development time. He held out the prospect that the studio wants to speed up the processes after the release of the first part. The approach envisages fully using the production pipeline of Unreal Engine 5 to take over processes and selected content. Additional efficiency gains such as the partial reuse of cards were mentioned, but are not confirmed, according to the information.
11/30/25 - Capcom is reportedly working on a new Dead Rising game with the return of protagonist Frank West, according to MP1ST.com. The report is partially confirmed by VGC.
It is a new main part, not a remaster or remake. The plot is said to take place mainly on a large, closed film studio lot in Hollywood, where an antagonist forces survivors to deadly tests in order to shoot his "perfect film". Capcom has not confirmed the information.
