Yeah, I don't think it's just one Ubisoft game. I know I had to spend 10 minutes setting something up in order to play the BotW clone, Immortals: Fenix Rising.... That game really was shit too.

That was quite a good State of Play yesterday. Really like a lot of stuff there. Of particular interest:

  • New Dead or Alive game
  • New Castlevania
  • God of War Trilogy Remake
  • John Wick game
  • New Pragmata trailer
  • New Resident Evil Requiem trailer
  • Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2

I just watched yesterday's State of Play. Not bad overall. I'm sure people who follow game news and development more closely might have been bored, but since I don't have a clue what the hell's going on these days, I enjoyed it.

  • Kena: Scars of Kosmora looks nice. I wasn't aware it was a sequel to an earlier game that was described as a Pixar version of elden ring. That kind of amuses me.
  • Control: Resonant, RE9, and Pragmata all still look good
  • Crimson Moon looks interesting
  • Rayman 30th anniversary looks kind of weak in my opinion. They haven't released a game in that series in over a decade, and they're just going to give us the first few games in the series again? Seems like there should be more.
  • Mina the Hollower really should not have taken that long to develop. It's a game boy color game I forgot sakes. What the hell has yacht club games been doing for the past decade?
  • Project Windless looks like a Musou starring a chicken. That said I don't hate the idea.
  • I hate the way The New Castlevania game looks. I've never liked that dead cells aesthetic. And why does Trevor look like Sonja?
  • Silent Hill Townfall looked cool, but you never know what you're getting with a silent Hill game. Might be great, might be utter crap.
  • Hopefully John wick is good.
  • And I've never liked the fighting games that Arc System makes, but damn Marvel Tokon looks impressive.

Oh yeah, forgot about Marvel Tokon. Am very hyped for that game.

Control Resonant looks very cool as well.

I feel old. Almost nothing in the Star of Play interested me, which would have been quite different 15 years ago.

Hello everyone, sorry I've been gone. Work has been draining. I decided to drop the Steam app for now. I had to rely on my son's laptop and it was just too much trouble at the moment. I had considered the Metal Gear Solid Collection with the Switch 2 upgrade but just decided to save my money for Resident Evil in about two weeks.

Completed Yakuza Kiwami.

That was fun. The story kept it fun, very cheesy and soap opera like but enjoyable nonetheless.

With a few tweaks it could be a better game, so I'm looking forward to the sequels.

Hardly used the Dragon style as I only faced Majima like 5 times. He stopped showing up.

I jumped back into Hearthstone this week. I watched a guy stream it and apparently they had made some major changes to battlegrounds mode. They've changed few elements up and it's much more complex now, and almost borderline chaotic. The end result is there aren't just two or three paths to victory, and you can get a lot more creative.

I also played ducktales remastered again. I ended up streaming that and apparently found a sugar daddy level tipper in there. I got $5 now, so I'm just about prepared to quit my full-time job.

This weekend I started playing the Xbox Series X version of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. Played some more Dragon Quest VII Reimagined and God of War: Ragnarok as well.
