I enjoyed LKS myself though I never finished it for some reason.
Little King's Story is, by an order of magnitude, superior to the baby's first RTS that is Pikmin.
And I say that as a mental baby who is a big fan of Pikmin.
most of my news posts were done via my phone too
I post exclusively from my phone. I haven't logged in on a desktop or laptop in years.
I'm a bit put off SF6 when I see Ryu, Ken, M.Bison and Sagat in their older form.
Capcom seem to think making characters older means hairy, unshaven, slovenly dressed, beat up and scared and generally looking like hobos.
It feels like an insult to one of my fondest memories, playing SF2 in arcades in the 90s.
I’m fine with ageing video game characters myself. Like the Street Fighter 6 older designs of the legacy characters.
I think videogames are one medium where you can keep characters eternally young.
And fuck it man. I'm getting older and more broken down. They should too.
I first checked out Returnal. I can't decide the game is either genius or just fucking terrible. Either way, I'm not real good at it, but at the same time I can't tell whether or not that is by design or not. But after 4 hours, I haven't really progressed the story much. So I've decided to write it off. Really happy I tested it, because I have had that in my shopping cart for a while, and it just doesn't seem like it's for me.
I also tried out Dredge. It's supposed to be a Lovecraftian fishing game. The idea is neat, and it's got a lot of elements that should be drawing me in, but it's just not happening. I think it's a little too light on direction. Part of me feels bad because I really haven't given it a fair shake yet, but at the same time I need more out of a game than the town mayor saying, "nobody knows how you got here, but why didn't you go out and catch some fish? Oh and don't go out at night."
Wouldn’t bother me to be honest. Would find it pretty hilarious though playing an Indiana Jones game as an old Indy.
Not saying developers have to age their characters just that I don’t mind if they do.
Unfortunately, I quickly learned that they did not remake Factions along with the main game. And that still pisses me off. Next to splatoon, I think factions was my favorite online gaming of the past 10 or 15 years. I'd say it's hard to believe Sony fumbled that, but then there was the whole Concord fiasco, and Factions looks like a minor bump in the road compared to that.
That's why I bought all of their classic costumes immediately after purchase. I don't buy DLC, but it was worth it on SF6.
Depends on the game but I prefer classic characters to mostly be timeless.
Tried the demo, fishing on a grid seems tedious.
I wouldn't mind it if there was a vast selection of grandpa complaints I could blurt out whenever I wanted at the press of a button.
How much did that cost? I've been seeing clips of Sagat coming to SF6.
I assume paid for dlc? I had the expectation that all the old faves would just be there day 1.
It would be neat to see a game, say Uncharted, where aging affects the character. Maybe its more difficult to climb or they have less stamina. So the gamer may have to get creative in going from point A to point B.
You can unlock all of the classic costumes for free by playing the open world RPG mode; I didn't like that mode at all, so I bought the costumes. I don't remember how much I paid.
