This way we dont have to worry about backwards compatibility and we make people buy their PS2 games all over again. Yay!
All according to keikaku.
I couldn't even finish SOTC. Goiod game, but I found its horribly camera more aggravating than its spooky framerate.
Whats crazier is the gambling side, using their service you can set wagers on online matches. Like say you want to play some guy on Madden and put $10 on the game. On one hand I think it's a brilliant idea, no different than doing a pickup game of basketball in the streets for some cash or hustling guys at pool, or any other kind of friendly wager. But again I think there will be some people that will make a killing with this. In gaming there are a very small percentage of people that are flat out better than everyone else, they would dominate. I assume there must be some ranking or something so you know who you are dealing with. Also I doubt the average person will even try, it may become an all pro gambling site. Then there are the problems that come with online gaming, disconnections with no proof if it was on purpose or not, people claiming there was cheating, etc. They may need to have games that same replays, kind of like Halo 3.
Good luck to them, I kind of like the idea. There aren't really any games for me. Until I can find a way to make money from single player games I am out of luck. Even then I will never master games like speed runners do and all that. Like I said there is a huge divide between a normal gamer and crazy psycho super speedrunning ultra master rank in CoD game kind of gamer.
(Oh and I love how one of the prizes maybe a trip into outer space with Virgin's spaceship. Umm, yeah if it ain't NASA I ain't going. Even NASA isn't safe. I'm good here on Earth for now.)
I'm all for gambling on as much stuff as you can (I don;t gamble myself). Gambling on competitive gaming is a-okay with me. 0-60 on fixed games though.
Gave up on Blitz the League. It was also pretty good, but I went 0-5 in career mode then they told me I'd have to win a single game to advance. Of course I could not, so they kicked me back to the start. I don't know anything about the NFL, but again, from what I can tell it was a good game. I was having fun until they kicked me out.
You can't have people gamble on the outcome of a match, the gambling has to be done only by the two players.
You won't learn anything about the NFL from Blitz.
Yes I do. Well, I have one at any rate. He turned 4 years old a couple weeks ago.
Heh. I've been there twice, so I hear you. As a matter of fact, I blame goblins as well for my lost Rhythm Heaven DS cart.
Haven't we gone over this before? I thought it was established that Robio had Goblins in his house.
Ah. Well in that case. Awesome. I can see a lot of people being suckered - -but that's fine, dumb people deserve to be grifted.

Now Playing: Golden Sun Dark Dawn, God of War Ghost of Sparta, and DKC Returns
There was no music in the game, which was odd. It was just a boring boring FPS. Bad textures. But I liked the old-school AI. It was nice being able to fire a short, retreat and then camp and make a pile of bodies. It was supposed to be historically accurate (set in Al Capone's Chicago) but there were typewriters in it from the late 20th century and a modern skyline on the front cover (I don;t think it is even Chicago).
Not as bad as it's reviwed, but certainly not good.
Now onto Bethesda's Call of the Cthulhu.
+_+_+_+_+_+
From the Kinect FPS story from yesterday:
""Core gamers will say to me, 'What is Kinect going to do for me?' Well, you probably have
a girlfriend, No
or you have a sister, Already a gamer
or a brother, Already games
or a niece, No
or a nephew, Already games
or a wife, Already games
or a mom, The less I have to do with her the better
or an aunt No
who you've probably wanted to have experience, you know, the kind of stuff that you enjoy."" Um the kind of stuff I enjoy involves sitting on a couch with a controller.
That's it.
If my nephew goes near my collection, I'm strapping boxing gloves over his thieving mitts.

Nice score for Singularity. I was interested in this game. I believe early purchasers get a free copy of Red Faction so I'll probably pick this up asap.
