Speaking of Mr. Takeuchi (producer of RE5 and LP1 and 2) stay away from RE, you didn't do much but copy RE4 and put co-op. That is good in a way cause he didn't mess with the formula that much, we definitely needed another RE4 like game. Going forward this series is going to need some genius direction, hopefully some young guys at Capcom can figure it out. Or they could beg Mikami to come back.
Ok. Just let me know if you are interested or free any time soon!
How do we do it anyway? Do we need to exchange friend codes or just choose a room?
. . . wow that sounds really bad.
Or, we can just get a room. Just make sure to bring your thick slab of meat and ready yourself to be pounded!
You know whats better than Shatner, right? SHAT!!!!

I just didn't like cel-shaded Prince of Persia much. The game was flat out BORING man, even compared to Two Thrones or even Warrior Within. There was just nothing exciting about it at all. And yes the hand holding was totally lame and removed the fear that you need to feel in these kinds of games.
Um, I think this leaves the door wide open for Mashita Kawata of Umbrella Chronicles/RE5/Darkside fame.
"Wii users like easiness" guy.
No there's always Kamiya. Oh, wait.....
Honestly I wish they'd just let the series be, or get Mikami to somehow work on it. I have a feeling whoever replaces Takeeuchi will be even worse. Capcom's real talent left a few years ago....that's why RE doesn't even excite me anymore, and it WAS my favorite franchise.
It needs a strong vision. Capcom seem to be lost on what to do after Mikami left.
I still don't like the graphic style in RE5 either. The game looks so plastic to me. Either bring back the natural look of RE4, or the psuedo-comic and eye-popping colorful style of RE2.
Don't most models this gen look plastic. I know what you are saying. I really hope something we get some mix of old and new RE for the next one. Another RE4 would be overkill already
I think it was an inevitable consequence of going for realism. In a way the older consoles suited the art style more. When they dull the colours and start adding sweat and skin pores it changes that familiar RE look.
I would like RE to get back to hokey, cheesy OTT fun. Or find a way to put the frights back in. Make things really tense.
I am sure Capcom will look at the sales of RE5 and say "this is what people want" and just do RE5 again. Unless they get a ballsy new director. The main problem is that we live in an action junkie time, games with action sell, other stuff not so much. Old RE would not sell like it did before. The trick is to keep the action going while mixing old elements in. How do you pull it off without screwing up, I don't know.
Hell yeah!
I think something like Bioshock's art style would be a great reinvention of the RE2 style. Just done in a more horror kind of way, obviously.
The few missions I did had more variety than almost all of LaTD, I don't recall ever using a boat in that game. The fight club and nightclub managing is at least something totally different than anything in GTA4. LaTD had races and gang wars which were nothing but random combat encounters, nothing you haven't seen before. Oh and I forgot to mention the best part, now all missions get graded. There are side objectives to be met like finish under certain time, with this much accuracy and less than this much damage for example, you get a percentage of how many of those you completed. After you finish the game you will be able to replay all missions to achieve the highest rank. This will add so much replay value, all GTAs should have this from now on.
Just kidding, its always fun to play with others. Co-op can have a place in RE but like how Uncharted handles it, separate from the main campaign. Or do a new Outbreak.
GAY Tony is a HUGE improvement?
It was like you said. I bet the game is harder and longer too.
Deeper? More stimulating?
