I beat MW2's campaign last night and haters be damned I LOVED IT. Yes yes all the same complaints are there, it does have simplistic gameplay, it is extremely linear, it almost feels like you are in a Disney ride some times. The story, the crazy ass scenarios it puts you in and the musical score come together to give the player simply one of the most exciting game experiences all year. This is an action movie fans dream come true, Michael Bay would masturbate furiously while playing this game. By the end of the game I was totally into the story, I am pumping my fist when the good guys started to take revenge on the bad guys. Great ending and I honestly can't wait for MW3.

I started on special ops, this mode has the gameplay variety and depth that the campaign was missing. It puts you into specific scenarios and depending on how well you do you get ranked from one to three starts. Its playable alone or with one other person. One mission has you on a small tower, with two entrances from the back and front. You get a sniper rifle, claymore mines and a satellite drone which you can use to rain down missles (it has a timed recharge). Then waves of enemies and trucks decend upon you and you must survive. Another mission has you running through a town defusing bombs before the time limit as everyone tries to kill you. There are co-op only missions where one player is a gunner on a helicopter and the other is on the ground, the gunner needs to provide support for the ground troop. Great stuff.
