The Stock market. So I played the DS game for something like 9-12 months everyday and I always invested hugely in turnips every sunday. My understanding was that as long as you checked everyday the share price, at least one day of the week would be higher than what you paid. And for my entire playing time this held true.

But now with City Folk for the second time everyday has been lower and I've been forced to sell at a loss. This morning I found out that the turnips I paid 90 bells for I had to sell at 30 bells this morning before they went off. I lost something like 200'000 bells. This is pissing me off.

 Maybe it's commentary from N about their stock dropping 12%.  In the other games I seem to recall getting burnt on turnips once or twice (on the GC version)... I did not think it was a sure thing at all.

i hear you.  i've been on the lookout for real korg synths and roland drum machines on ebay for 2-3 years now but they always go beyond my means.  but i will have a good collection one day.

Yeah here its only £10 cheaper than new retail games. I feel the same about RE4 Wii Edition. The motion controls are said to do alot though:

"The Wii is not a hardcore market," and variations on that theme were common refrains.

That's pretty much the same thing that people have been saying about Nintendo consoles for years, even after plenty of adult and hardcore hits. They just replace "kiddie" with "casual" now.

In a way its Nintendo's own fault though. For obvious reasons over the years.
