I've never seem so many framerate graphs across the screen. Some of the videos will go on about how the framerate may dip for 3 seconds. Or how 1 shadow is missing under 1 object you wont really care about either.
5 mins into these videos Im thinking "is this game any good then? Is it fun? Because you've told me f### all about the game so far"
GG, all I can tell you is that it looked good on the Series S. One of the best looking games I have ever seen with good textures , shading and lighting effects.. I enjoyed the gameplay very much though it can be repetitive(story missions are awfully similar).Theres a good bit of variety riding speeders, stealth, gun fights, space battles, gambling. and I loved trying to win over the different factions. I tried to do a lot but did ending up finishing it quickly since I was playing under a subscription service. The best I can describe it is Assassin's Creed for Star Wars fans. If you like that Ubisoft open world gameplay then you will surely like this.
I would get the game key card as its fairly cheap compared to digital but I don't want to have to plug in a cartridge every time I want to play it.
Especially if it already will exist on the SSD.
I knew it was good but never paid much attention to it as I would never buy the Switch 1 version.
I've read all the Harry Potter books and seen all the mainline films. I wouldn't call myself a fan, the last few books and movies sucked.
But this game is so much deeper and more expansive than I expected and seems to have been made with a lot of care and attention.
Even the writing is pretty good. And technically its such a great port too. The combat is fun too, you're like a wizard gunslinger.
You can stealth about like Splinter Cell, fly about the open world and do quests like The Elder scrolls. You have crafting opportunities and tons of gear and costumes.
Really fun and seems to be packed with content.
Glad you can pick up the Switch 1 version on sale and pay $10 for the upgrade. Only paid £18 for it.
Great value.
Now I want Witcher 3, Doom and Eternal, The Sinking City to all get Switch 2 upgrades.
It is definitely fun and I finished the main story last night. Now, to do some sidequests. Gotta help my man, Sebastion.
I'm a little broke at the moment. I'd like to try out Hollow Knight since I somehow missed out
High on Life is nuts!
Yes, that was a fun game.
They've very obviously shoe horned every race, nationality and sexuality known to man into this game. On the one hand I think its great for kids to show a multicultural world.
And it also means that if you are some kid in Uganda or something you can feel more a part of the Harry Potter world.
But at the same time its very different and not true to the films and books and definitely feels forced.
I grew up in schools with all kinds of races, but we were all still English, I mean born here. It's usually not till you hit University when you get actual people from abroad you meet.
It's a nice idealistic thing in the game, but because of my own school experience growing up as an ethnic minority it does feel "off".
I noticed that well and it especially stood out considering the game is set in the 1800s.
Good of the producers to put all that in a JK Rowling IP. Hopefully some trans representation too.

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
There is.
Heard a lot of good things about the Hogwarts game. Never read any of the books or seen the movies. It’s regularly on sale and am always tempted to get it. May grab it one day.
You should read the books. I hate what became of JK Rowling but the stories are great.
It's still Elder scrolls like but with better combat.
I suppose you get a box and a cartridge to use. So you can make believe its a physical game and still have to plug it in everytime you want to play.
Shouldn't they make it so it only occasionally asks you to enter the cartridge rather than every time?
Well I haven't received it yet but the price was almost at Wii game levels £40.
I’m sure they could do that but I don’t think that would be better. The consumer would have to try and keep track of when it would need to be verified and may have to carry the Game Key card around with them just in case or go and get it. Just easier for it to always be needed just like a typical game card.
I finished up Hogwarts Legacy this weekend. I really enjoyed the combat and the lore scattered throughout the game. Theres a couple of sidequests that I would like to complete but I will probably never try for 100 percent. I continued my playthrough of Chibi Robo off the Gamecube app. Its such a charming game and I can't believe I'm getting a chance to play it after completing it all those years ago.
