To join in the over the top hyperbole, this is like the Metroid Prime reinvigoration of Metroid for a new generation/audience. If we pretend there were no Tomb Raider games post-PS which we may as well. Except the characters are worse than in Metroid Prime...

That Miyamoto interview is great. It seems like Japan has some hero worship issues, his comments about the younger members on the team and them trying to make a game for him rather than the players sounds familiar. He also says he tries to hide just so that they can try some ideas on their own. Kojima goes through the same thing .
Kind of different from America where everyone is looking to become the head guy.

Namco are clearly copying Animal Crossing with that Disney game, all the exclusive furniture and stuff in that trailer.
I don't want to say that I want it. But I kinda do. IF it's good. Reminds me of Go Vacation when they set up holiday villas and items to buy and customise in the house.
