I'm bored.
So lets talk portable wars.
So given how the 3DS price had to be slashed in 6 months, how do you feel Vita is going to do at $250 now, in light of the news that it won't release in Europe or America this year?
I speculate that the Sony portable audience, might be more inclined to buy more expensive portables, than the Nintendo portable audience.
The 3DS though now has a clear run at Christmas, at a lower price with Super Mario 3DLand and Mario Kart 7 in the holiday season. Mario Kart Wii sold 28 million and EAD Tokyo are making the Mario platformer so it might be a booster towards purchase intent in regards to core gamers.
How many people here are going to buy either system and how sure are you in percentage terms?

It looks amazing. Whether you're soaring through the on-rails aerial shooting sections, or down on the ground smacking enemies with your blade, Angel Land is a vivid and beautiful place.
Impressive as it is, though, it's eclipsed by the superb character models. Bosses, including a gigantic cerberus wreathed in flame, look spectacular - although it might be hard to notice this when you're trying to dodge waves of special moves.
Pit, meanwhile, may have a slightly funny gait (He looks like he's limping much of the time. Perhaps he's had his leg tagged by a confused pigeon fancier), but this is otherwise exactly how we imagined/hoped the winged wonder would look when reinvented in 3D.
Uprising is both approachable to newcomers, and packed with plenty of nods to the early games. How does it accomplish this witchcraft? Well, rather ingeniously, by showing history lessons on the bottom screen.
For instance, talk of Pit's nemesis Medusa is accompanied by a prehistoric 8-bit sprite of the evil queen herself. It's a nice way to get newbies up to speed.
This makes me sad.
As far as which one will I buy? Just the 3DS interests me right now, but it'll still be about Christmas or 2012 before I pick one up.
I'm going to start a Vampire: TM B playthrough. For reals this time.
