Not good enough for the news board, but worth showing you for the ridiculous headline:
Hasbro Continues to Expand Its Global Branded Play Experiences on Digital Platforms
Link provided for proof, not for you to read. The story is as "well" written as the headline.
I'm getting the MMZ collection in case one day I want to play them. Seems like a convenient way to nab them all at once.
EDIT: Just got it at Amazon, it's $30 with $5 off toward MP3s -- so since the old lady gets those from there it was only $25.

Oh no. I just realised I'm going into E3 with a 0.24mbps connection.

Why Mario Galaxy 2 would be better on 360 By x360 Magazine
Is he bitching over nothing?
We should have an ANGER Forum to keep GGWeekly a good clean fight.
SMG2 would be better on the 360 because you could use a real controller. Also, how do you know if you are acheiving anything unless a pop-up comes up on the screen every 40 seconds? I want acheivements for 10 Stars collected etc...
Also, I need to get my friends tweets in game, and have my game update to Facebook. How can a Wii do that? With a friend-code?
Also, it would be better on the 360 because it would use the Unreal Engine, and look less cartoony than those baby games on the Wii.
And I'd want to get some horse armor for Yoshi eventually. That's another no-go on the Wii.
No, he is absolutely correct. VG websites are a fucking joke, it's all about stretching the truth to get people to click on your link to view your ads.
"Aspro Says VG Press is a ****ing Joke?" See what I did there? Of course, I'm guilty of some sensationalism to get my stories here clicked on, but I'm not benefiting from it.
Sony says it released the PSPgo as an experiment to gauge the reception for a digital-only handheld console.
Speaking with MCV, SCEE president Andrew House was asked if Sony considers the PSPgo a sales success, to which he replied: "It was introduced in a mature lifecycle to learn more about what the consumer wanted and we've definitely learnt a lot.
"Is that measured by success in sales? I don't think it is," he added.
"One of the reasons we launched PSPgo was to understand where that consumer behaviour was going. We were getting signals from consumers that this was the kind of device that they wanted. But we need to recognise that consumers like their packaged media library," said House.
PSP Go failed for a few reasons, it's main problem was that existing owners had UMDS and the used market had UMDs and you couldn't play them on Go. Personally I think they are saying it was a test now because it failed. If it hadn't have failed you would hear nothing of this test business.
In general yeah, especially Kotaku and CVG. In this case though he said:
I personally think that part of the problem is, technically, Japan just can't keep up with the US.
And I feel the title of the story was fairly accurate. You click the story, you read the actual quote.
OMG the opening paragraph is bad enough.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is, by all accounts, an absolute classic, generally being to ten out of tens what cake is to fat kids. There’s only one problem. It’s on the Wii.
Still, we can but dream, and offer some reasons as to why this near flawless gem would be even better on our beloved machine…
They were never serious about selling the PSPGo. It was a limited run test, if it sold well, then it would affect the design of the PSP2.
But clearly they are getting ready to dump them in favor of something else, what with the 10 free games europeans get with the PSP "for a limited time". They want to sell them before people find out they are old hat.
Yeah it sounds like they are going to ditch it and unveil something new. I think if the Go had been the default system from the off, then it would have done better.
Yeah, to be clear I was talking about the PSPGo, not the regular PSP. I get the feeling that the PSP was being supported by both SCE and Sony ENtertainment because of the UMD Movies, so when that finally flopped SCE was left holding the bag and that they wanted to see if the all-digital route would work before they went back to the hard-media drawing board.
Ironic thing is, digital download worked extremely well for the PSP -- only no-one was paying for the games.
--- And g'night all, I gots to spleep.
Night pal.
