I realized last night that I haven't seen my Kindle in a while. I went looking for it and I cannot find it.
Was it sucked into whatever alternate reality that my socks keep disappearing?
Was it sucked into whatever alternate reality that my socks keep disappearing? I started reading "I am Ozzy" and it's fucking great. I'm hearing Ozzy voice in my head as I read it.
It starts out with a warning that Ozzy's memory of events in his life may be different than other people's recollection. That's because he's done every drug under the sun, and this book is how he fucking remembers it.

I got a Kobo Clara ereader for Christmas and it has been a revelation (this is my first ereader). Finally I've been able to get past the hurdles that have prevented me from having any sort of consistency reading. In the past month I've gone through 5 books, which is an obscene pace for me.
My most recent read was Seven Devils, a classical sort of sci-fi space epic, and I wrote up a review for it today

I'm still figuring out my tastes. I think for fiction I'm drawn to character development and interpersonal dynamics.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileI finished Seven Mercies - the sequel to Seven Devils - and wrote up a short review.
It really comes together. They both pretty much make up a single novel rather than an original and sequel. I think it's a starting point for narrowing down taste, but I'll have to try more and see how they compare.
