I think the story is what made SMG so special.   It's one of the reasons that it worked so well.

There was a story in Galaxy?  Did I blink or something?

The story takes place at the very begining, and again at the very end before and after you fight Bowser. It's just three or four short cutscenes, but it's still pretty cool.

I honestly don't know why Miyamoto is against putting more story in SMG 2. It boggles the mind.

The story Travo is talking about is the storybook sequence of Rosalina. Even the ending is about Rosalina! Seriously pay attention people.

No you did not, you said cutscenes, not storybook! The story is the most underappreciated part of Galaxy!

I consider those "storybook" scenes to be cutscenes. They sure as hell aren't gameplay!

Personally I love what Miyamoto said. Just have ships come in and lower a giant cake on chains. That's perfect LOL

I dont mind either way but mario games are not about story.

LOL at the story argument.   I consider the storybook scenes that "story."

I consider the story book and the cut scenes to be "filler."  I love Mario games but Tetris has just about as good of a story.

I think the orchestra was a huge step forward and I'll be pissed if there are no new orchestrated songs in here.  Maybe there are leftovers from the first session.

I got all 120 stars on the 1st play-through, and 58 (so far) on the 2nd. I'll get all 121 stars before SMG 2 comes out, though.

Most people don't like San Andreas because they are closet racists.  They'll say things like, "I just didn't like CJ" or "I didn't like the gang setting".

I'm up to 36 (playing for the first time) and I'm starting to get sick of the game.

I'll finish it, but I'm looking forward to #60.

I got to 25 within 2 days, and since then it has been a s-l-o-w grind.

I think it gets much better as it goes along so you might just be going through a less interesting area.

What world are you on at the moment?

I got all 120 stars as Mario. And all 120 stars as Luigi.
