What the movie does with it though, has almost nothing to do with the book's story outside of the most general storyline of (Sentinels are bad, send a character back in time to fix things).

iZombie is about a woman who was recently turned into a Zombie and she gets a job at a morgue so she can eat the brains of dead people that go through the morgue to try to stay human.

I'm going to buy it on comixology before the movie. I saw the cartoon episodes on it, thats where most of my X-Men knowledge comes from. Its a cool simple story but it pretty much set the standard of the comic time travel story. It has been copied in stuff like Heroes.

It could be a TDKR reference. We haven't seen the image in color it could be the same suit that was in TDKR.
