I bought World of Goo simply cause of the attention and word of mouth the game was getting. It won loads of awards for puzzle game of the year. I like puzzle games so I gave it a shot. I admire the game for its unique premise and how it keeps a simple concept interesting for so long but its just not for me.

I am not a fan of building stuff, I didn't care for Lego's as a kid. This is a game all about creating structures that can hold a certain amount of weight or don't tilt when they reach a certain height. I don't care for that and that is the reason for my score. It is still an extremely well made game and I can see why so many love it.

It's got an interesting story told through humorous signs. There are all kinds of goo, each with different abilities which keep the puzzles interesting. While the main goal is always to reach the goo vacuum, each level does a good job of creating different situations that change the way you need to approach the puzzle.

A perfect example of a game that I can say its enjoyable but not for me.

Sorry you couldn't get into it.

It's as close as it gets to a perfect 10 game for me.  I consider it a masterpiece in every respect and playing it was a truly wonderful experience that has stayed with me forever.

The fact that it's the work of just two people makes it that much more inspiring (not that anyone could tell by playing it)

Aspro I mean building in the engineering sense. I like creating scenarios and worlds but I cant stand the actual mechanical building of it. I hate doing backgrounds and molding figures in LBP. I just want to do level design.
