Wow you can't even pluck lily of the valley petals. They are immortal.

So as I was saying above^ you cannot post dug flowers and you cannot pluck petals from lily of the valleys. So I will have to hand deliver it to Sup or Mama.

Just saw your posts.  Maybe I'll manage to squeeze in some AC this evening, not sure if we'll be playing any tomorrow.  Should I see you're online I'll open my gates.  Thanks for the effort anyway, the wife will really appreciate it.

This game is over the top. I had my menu open on the beach when Spike (orange rhino) walked up beside me. He pulled out his phone and took a selfie of the both of us.

Anyone tried flower breeding? I'm having mixed success. I'm able to grow pinks and some oranges (hyacinths, lily's, tulips) but I can't seem to grow orange cosmos. Haven't really bred any rose hybrids, just one pink. I'm getting a few blacks but not many. Getting special reds to grow unique colors is near impossible so far. They look the same as normal. Despite massive flower fields I only get about 3-6 hybrids a day.

I don't think I'll try my hand at flower breeding. Huge seas of flowers don't really mesh with my hobo style island.

You can do it small scale with patches of 5 flowers in a star shape. Usually you have one colour which is an activator. Usually red, put that in the center, then place 2 whites one side, 2 yellows on the other. You end up with pink or orange flowers. You can also breed flowers anywhere with just 2 flowers next to each other. Just remember to water them.

I thought black flowers were special but they aren't that hard. Some just require 2 reds next to each other.

I’ve tried breeding flowers a bit. So far just have the usual black, orange, and pink variants.

Normally I wouldn't bother but there are some recipes that need these flowers. It's also becoming quite satisfying.

I’ll definitely try some more flower breeding later on, it’s just that I’ve been more focused on other things right now.

The whole bred flower situation is ridiculous. I have some patches that never produce.

I'm kinda sad that no one has seen my music venue at night. I put a lot of effort into the lighting and it looks amazing at night.

Not sure anyone has built large developments outdoors yet. Just a tip, there is ground level then level 1 and 2 in terms of height of cliffs in your town. If you want you can significantly increase the space of tier 1 and 2 if you are running out of space. Just go to the level below and build a rim 1 grid square larger around the area you want bigger. So you end up with two grid square thick base rimming the edge. Go up one level and you can do the same. Even 1 grid square larger all around makes a difference without drastically altering the layout of your town.

I'm not talking huge developments.  I'd kill for a decent looking bench though.  Preferably Derwin or Megan.  Nyaa  I've got all these cast iron streetlamps, would be nice to have a matching bench.

Just saw this in the news, thought I'd share. Might be either something for you guys to do, or a possible business opportunity of your own.

I humiliate people for free.

Went to a friends town and he has a billion hybrid breeds of flowers. He asked if I wanted to take some and I only grabbed like 2. It doesn't feel special if you haven't made them yourself. I like turning on the game each day and checking what has grown.

There's one flower he doesn't have. The Lily of the Valley. cheeky
