I bought it and put it on my table. You can open it and close it and it looks like it filled with gold bars or something. Not sure if it was worth it or not.

The game should really give you more diverse stuff earlier on. Every town seems to have a pool area, a Japanese corner and a huge robot.

there's an obscure icon when you open the cupboard I never noticed. I was wondering why I wasn't getting a good selection of wallpaper and stuff. I thought you had to order from Nook shopping. Jeez it's like they hid the feature.
Lol, not sure if I'm part of that list, but I must say that I find it a pain to chat through the in-game 'app', when you're not together in a town.
It usually carries papers.
